Product Description

This formula is meant to help restore the proper balance in the acid-base ratio in body tissues. Balanced body chemistry is essential to the maintenance of health the prevention of illness and the treatment of specific ailments. Acidosis or the over-acidity of body tissues is thought to be at the foundation of many debilitating diseases including arthritis rheumatic disease diabetes cancer arteriosclerosis and heart problems. The products of digestion can be either acid or alkaline depending on what is eaten. To maintain a normal acid-base balance the diet should contain 70-80% alkaline-forming foods. Most people eat too many acid-forming foods. The body has a sophisticated buffering system that helps maintain the pH within healthy limits but sometimes the capacity of the buffers is exceeded usually because alkali reserves in the the blood and tissues are taxed too heavily by the make-up of the diet. When the proper acid-base balance is maintained the body has a remarkable resistance to disease. During convalescence or when the body is recovering from disease a window of acidosis is revealed that can undermine the healing process. During such times it is extremely important that dietary or supplemental substances that raise the alkaline side of the equation be consumed. Most grains are acid-forming except millet and buckwheat. Meats eggs rice nuts and cheese are all acid-forming. All vegetable and fruit juices are highly alkaline-forming. Several systems and organs of the body are involved in maintaining a healthy pH: blood buffers the lungs the kidneys adrenals bowels liver and pancreas among others. B. Patient Reactions Expect enhanced metabolic health that should be demonstrable in terms of decreased symptoms of acidosis-like conditions and remission of certain signs and symptoms of heart problems arthritis rheumatism and other conditions that are exacerbated by acid pH. Persons with erratic pH due to serious metabolic disease or highly improper diet may wish to use ALKALOFORM in conjunction with ACIDOFORM. Since pH problems probably also reflect general systemic toxicity use of DETOXOFORM and ECOLOFORM is also indicated. Should more extensive damage to the underlying physiological and biochemical homeostatic systems of the body be incurred then the use of METAFORM and HORMONOFORM may prove useful. This product is best used under a doctors supervision and when used moderately it is perfectly safe and without significant side effects.
